Offering outplacement services to redundant employees in times your company must downsize, can be a highly effective strategy. Outplacement serves the direct goal of offering your employees support to reorientate to the job market, but it also serves an indirect goal: it ensures your image, identity and branding (both internal as external) remain high-end- even through difficult times.

Employees, the outplacement candidates as well as the workforce that stays behind, will respect and value an organisation based on how the company deals with redundancy.

Their opinions will make waves, in the inner world of the company, as well as the outer world.
